Oscar Benton - How Can I Just Start Again 5곡 Oscar Benton Blues Band로 알려져 있는 그룹의 리더인 Oscar Benton은 60년대부터 활동했던 블루스 연주자 이며 그 당시 미국이나 영국뿐 아니라 유럽의 내륙 지역에도 블루스의 영향력이 미쳤는데 일명 '베네룩스 블루스 씬'의중심에 섰던 밴드이다. 만들어진 한 참후에 발표되었을 때 별다른 호응을 얻지 못하다가 프랑스의 배우 아랑 드롱이 이 음악을 듣고는 "아~! 미쳐버리고 싶구나~!!” 라 말할 정도로 내면 깊숙히 파고 들었다 노래를 들으면서 영감을 얻은 알랑 드롱은 영화를 구상하고 자신이 주연한 영화에 이 곡을 사용한 후 자연스레 유럽에서 최고의 인기를 얻게 된다 듣는 이들마다 다르겠지만 때론 깊은 애수가 느껴지기도 하지만 간간히 넣은 경쾌함의 비트는 그만이 가진 예술성일지도 모른다.
